Tree

To get a better understanding of the master data's structure we recommend to take a look at the information about compound rooms.

You can view the tree if you click in the "Administrator Menu" on the menu item "Master Data". A submenu will open up where you can click on "Room Overview".

Structure of the tree:

If you created a building, it will be displayed on the first hierarchy level. Click on the building's name to open the detail view.

If you have created floors too, you can open up the building to show all floors by clicking on the +sign next to the building's name. Furthermore, click on the floor's name to have its detail view displayed.

If areas were created on a floor too, you can view them by clicking on the +sign next to the floor's name. Click on the area's name to get its detail view.

If equipment was assigned to one of the displayed areas, you can have it shown by again clicking on the +sign left to the area's name. An inventory number will come up. Click on it, to open the respective piece of equipment in its detail view.

Had rooms already been created that contain one of the displayed areas, you will see a +sign to the right of the area's name. If you click on this sign, rooms will be displayed that contain the area in the same row.

Compound rooms will be marked by a symbol showing two linked squares with dotted outlines. You will find this symbol on the right of the room's name. If you click on the symbol the tree will automatically unfold in a way that all areas belonging to this room will be highlighted.
