General information about activity types:
Activity types serve to classify cleared activities in DISPOROOM�. To each room, equipment and service type exactly one activity types is assigned to. However, each activity type can be assigned to several rooms, equipment and service types.
To each activity type one unit is assigned to (hours or units) as well as a price per unit. Thereby the costs for the use of all activities (room, equipment, service) can be calculated. Additionally, a cost center is assigned to each activity type ("supplying cost center", because it supplies an activity). When the cost allocation takes place the cost center will be credited for the activity, i.e. it receives the amount.
In DISPOROOM� each activity type is of a different kind:
- Services: for service services
- Rent: for rooms
- Equipment requiring availability check: for equipment that can be booked by the user on the tab "Equipment" when "Creating a Booking". Since the number of such equipment is limited its availability needs to be checked by the system.
- Equipment without availability check:: for equipment that can be booked by the user on the tab "Equipment" when "Creating a Booking". Such pieces of equipment are always available.
- Permanent Room Equipment: for room equipment that is permanently installed in a room (e.g. fixed beamers, air conditioning, blinds).

Choose the cost center that supplies the respective activity
(again the supplying cost
center).
